Trip to Te Tuhi

We had an amazing trip to Te Tuhi. We painted colour wheels. It was fun to paint. We smelled the coffee. It smelled delicious. I saw acorns on a tree. They were very small. I heard a woodpecker. It was very hard to hear. I felt happy because it was fun.

Making connections

Making a connection can be connecting to a story to another story. A connection is when the story reminds you of something that happened to you or someone that you know. Making a connection is easy.

Making a plan for my story

We are learning to make a plan. We can make a plan for any story. Making a plan helps us to remember what happened and to write about it. We need to remember to have a topic and at least 3 ideas about the topic in our plan. It is easy to make a plan.
